The accommodations have room for 4 to 8 guests. The
sleeping rooms have 1 to 3 beds. A kitchen is in all
lodges included. It provides the possibility to prepare meals
ourselves, alternatively, we can choose to join a Inuit family for the
main meals. Here you can taste genuine arctic
specialities like whale, seal and fish. Local
supermarkets offer everything needed to prepare
"normal" meals.
The shops are always located close to the
accommodations. They offer a wide range of food and
other useful stuff (but depending on the season).
In close range
you will always find many options for excursions by your
own, i.e. the "Flower Valley" near Tasiilaq or
various mountain tours, which can be done without
any special equipment or physical condition. |
